Study like a pro, play the  role of a student but how?

Story from the guy in purple t-shirt

Today, 07.00 A.M , i was waiting to catch my bus for my classes. I sat there on the bench waiting for the bus and i wore the same black shirt , dressed like a gentleman. Someone once told me, "Suraj, your simplicity and honesty one day will make you a leader and everyone will be inspired by you". I could not understand why he said it. Another once said , "I know you can do it, you are a hard-worker and you are after all meant to be called a 'student'", this one was said by the Senior Lecturer of the Mauritius Institute of Education. Jokes apart, yes i did it. One of my students rocked the list of laureates this week. Remembered me one thing, i am a guy full of greatness.

The guy in the purple t-shirt then came, superbly dressed.  He was accompanied by his friends and  was busy complaining that he could not study at night. He was feeling lazy. I started thinking, i had a crushed night till 03.00 a.m.Still, i woke up before the sun rise. I could have spent my time choosing my clothes.   Instead, i was busy with my algorithms. 

Not finished yet, he now argues  about a taxi. A taxi which is dirty and how it appears inside. Wow, one word "Negativity prevails this guy". Frustration leads to argue.

The key idea

A student should have a goal. He should crave for knowledge. He has feelings for books. He is always properly dressed and gives everyone a smile.  A student learns from others even how to live life. He is inspired by success. He spends time reading good things. When he goes to school, he should have only one aim to grasp a little knowledge.

The most important thing, love what you do.   Let me quote from a great man, 

“If a man is called to be a street sweeper, he should sweep streets even as Michelangelo painted, or Beethoven composed music, or Shakespeare wrote poetry. He should sweep streets so well that all the hosts of heaven and earth will pause to say, here lived a great street sweeper who did his job well.”

 A student should have the desire of working and not  being forced to work. He / She should see his/ her works as an artist.

A student plans his time  for enjoyment , for keeping himself motivated and focus. Let me quote:

See yourself as an artist and love what you want to do and achieve. 

"I do not need money to go to uni mom, I need my brain only."~Suraj.

"If you need money then, or feel hungry??"~ Mom

"I fill my stomach my knowledge so much, that i won't feel hungry anymore, ok give me the ten rupees, the rest ill keep it for my books"~ Suraj
